A group of Scientific Advisors will help ESS Scandinavia in generating forward momentum towards the construction of ESS and shape the future of neutron scattering in Europe. It will provide international advice and external moderation on three main topics: the model for organisation and operation of ESS in Lund, scientific priorities for ESS, scientific environment and collaborations with other European facilities. The Scientific Advisory Group is composed of nine young, renowned European scientists. They have expertise in various fields of applications of neutron science and have expertise in large scale facilities. The group is chaired by Robert Mc Greevy, and it meets twice a year.
